Susanne Sundfør is a quickly rising star out of Norway. A few radio stations have already picked up her emotional and epic single, “White Foxes” and boy is that song hot like fire. However, the song we’re most excited about is her single “Fade Away” off her recently released LP Ten Love Songs. Out of the gate, “Fade Away” delivers an upbeat, synth pad line with infinite potential. Susanne warms up her vocals on the first line of the song, which is immediately followed by an interesting feature: one upbeat, teaser of a riff and one distorted “oh”—all very reminiscent of some of St. Vincent’s funky jabs. From the production, to the lyrics and vocals, “Fade Away” is a brilliant tune with the legs to go places. The track also has a funky ass remix from Coucheron that will give you a few more opportunities to dance it out. Check ‘em both out below.
